Eagle snatching a toddler in a Montreal

Viral Topic

A video of an eagle snatching a toddler in a Montreal park has gone viral and reached over five million views in just one day! Talk about a great way for people to recognize your work or talent, let alone getting an A+ on any 3D animation project for school.

So at first I actually thought that this was real. I played it over and over trying to find some flaw in the video. Without spending to much time on that, I left it at that. This had me thinking all night that if this was in fact real footage of a bald eagle snatching a toddler, how terrifying that would have been for the parent. Myself, a parent of two little ones, couldn't imagine the horrors of this being a reality.

The Eagle has landed!

The next day I found out that it was fake (to my relief), in which three students studying 3D animation came forward to claim responsibility. Normand Archambault, Loïc Mireault and Félix Marquis-Poulin, students at Centre NAD, ended up brain storming ideas of what viral online is and how one could accomplish such. If your someone that watches a lot of videos online, animal and baby videos are somewhat on the more popular side when it comes to the everyday online audience.

It took them around 400 hours to put this video together but in the end it was worth it. Receiving more then five million views in just one day is well worth it. Anyways, here is the eagle snatching a toddler in a Montreal park video you all have been waiting for.

We would love to hear from you on what your thoughts were when first viewing this video!
